This beautiful heavy 6ft x 2ft solid Swedish Redwood Pine bookcase forms part of our extensive range of good quality bookshelves all individually hand-crafted here in the UK in our own joinery factory at genuinely low factory direct prices! Like all our furniture this is not a flat-pack with absolutely no MDF, engineered panels, plywood or veneers. So when we say "solid" we mean it with no caveats or exceptions unlike most other bookcases sold online nowadays. This particular piece pictured has been hand finished in our Light Oak Wax . As always if you are unsure about colours we can post you real wood colour samples FREE OF CHARGE before committing to buy! All the shelves are fully adjustable allowing you the flexibility to display a variety of items of your choosing.

Oak Description

This beautiful 6ft x 2ft solid oak bookcase has five adjustable shelves and is individually hand-crafted in our own UK factory using only the finest 100% SOLID EUROPEAN OAK by our team of certified "Master Craftsmen" It's a very substantial piece of furniture and weighs twice as much as our popular pine versions. Please don't confuse it with all the other so called "solid oak furniture" found elsewhere on-line. This truly is the real deal!

Ordering

You can place an order via our website heartland-interiors.co.uk following the prompts given or by calling us on 01377 24008.

Once you have placed an order you will be contacted via e-mail within 24hrs (or next working day) with details of your order and further information.

heartland-interiors.co.uk will store your data securely and it will not be passed to any third parties.

The successful placement of your order is deemed your acceptance of these terms & conditions. Completion of the contract between you and us will take place upon the commencement of the build process, unless we have notified you we do not accept your order or you have cancelled in accordance with Returns & Cancellation Policy detailed below within these Terms & Conditions. In the unlikely event that we are unable to accept your order, we will notify you as soon as possible. Non acceptance of an order may be as a result of one of the following:

  1. A product pricing or description error
  2. Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment.

We reserve the right to modify or withdraw temporarily or permanently this website or any part thereof with or without notice to you.

Payment

All prices displayed on our site are inclusive of VAT and exclusive of delivery charges. Payment can be made through PayPal. All credit/debit card transactions are subject validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. You can pay for items in GB Pounds.

Delivery Charges

We charge a flat rate of £39.00 per item, limited to £80.00 for large orders.  Delivery is available to mainland UK only.

Our Current Delivery Exceptions Are KW, IV, AB, PH, DD, PA, BT, LD, SA, TR, PL, EX, TQ, Isle of Man, & The Isle of Wight. We are very sorry but we cannot deliver to the listed Postcode areas unless arranged with us in advance before purchasing.

In addition to your statutory rights as a consumer, Heartland Interiors Ltd also offers a free, 28 day peace of mind guarantee. Let us know within 28 days from the date of delivery if you are not totally satisfied with your purchase and we will collect it with no questions asked.

In return we will issue a credit note for the furniture, less our costs for collecting*.

This offer only applies to goods that are undamaged and in re-saleable condition.

*Collection will be charged out at the full delivery cost indicted during the original ordering process.

If the cancellation is received after attempted delivery there will be a collection charge charged out at the full delivery cost indicated during the original ordering process.

Our Manufacturing Process

So you’ve ordered your beautiful piece of hand crafted, solid pine furniture; what next? Although we want to deliver your furniture to you as quickly as possible, we also need to make sure it meets both our and your high quality standards. Each piece of furniture we build is carefully crafted from high grade timber to your exact specifications by our master craftsmen. Our manufacture process typically follows these 5 stages:

STAGE 1 - Thank you for ordering

All the information regarding the item of furniture you have chosen, including any special instructions such as colour or size, is written onto a numbered building ticket. A confirmation email is then sent to you with the numbers that have been assigned to your order (for example 1198/1564). The first set of numbers is your sales record; the second is your building ticket number. Please make a note of this number as you will need it if you contact us about your order.

STAGE 2 - Waiting in line

Your building ticket is then added to the building queue. This is where the majority of the 30 working days we quote upon order is spent up - but don’t worry, we won’t forget about you!


Obviously it doesn’t take us that long to make a bookcase, desk or cabinet, but before we can start making your furniture we have to be fair to those customers in front of you in the queue and make theirs first. Our furniture is very much in demand and at any given time we have well over 200 people in our building queue (During peak periods this can jump to nearly 400 orders). We build as quickly as we can whilst paying close attention to detail. We cap our lead-times at 30 working days (6 weeks) although in our industry a lead time of 8-10 weeks is often considered normal.

STAGE 3 - The Build

Phew! The wait is coming to an end. Your building ticket has made it to the front of the queue and has been assigned to one of our skilled cabinet makers for individual production. We promise not to rush this part, “Measure twice and cut once” is our motto.


Once built, your piece of furniture is then passed on to one of our skilled polishers for waxing or allocated to our resident furniture painter. If you have ordered the painted option on your furniture this process will take a little longer as we literally have to wait and watch the paint dry (all 5 coats of it)!

STAGE 4 - The Delivery

While your furniture is being produced one of our admin team will be in touch with you by email to make arrangements for delivery. Moving large items of furniture of our size, weight and quality around the country can be a logistical headache sometimes. Most of our furniture is simply too big to send by postal couriers, so we use our own special delivery vans.


Your furniture is carefully loaded onto one of our vans, wrapped in blankets and strapped into place along with other pieces of furniture scheduled for delivery in your county and surrounding areas.


Please note: Possible delays may arise during this stage if you live in remote, hard to reach areas. Please check our ‘remote delivery areas’ to see if your postcode is included.

STAGE 5 - Arrival

We hope once you see your furniture you’ll understand why we are so busy. We work as quickly as we can without compromising on quality and we are sure you will be delighted with your new, custom made piece of beautiful solid pine furniture. We very much appreciate your patience during these stages and understand that like anyone else you want your furniture as quickly as possible.


We are doing everything we can to keep up with the ‘ever growing’ demand for our wonderful furniture. We have recently moved into a 14,000sq.ft factory and are currently on the look out for more cabinet makers, polishers and delivery staff to join our friendly team.
